I'm an AFA Certified Farrier!

On Saturday, May 30th, I officially earned my AFA Certified Farrier (CF) certification!


This certification has been a long-term goal of mine. Thank you to my amazing tester, Jack Trainor, the examiners, and everyone in the Maryland Farriers Association for putting on such a great certification event and making this opportunity possible. I also need to thank my friend Kirk Smith for always being such a great role model and mentor!


Most importantly, I need to thank my husband, Tyler Mix, for always supporting me, traveling with us for these events, watching Rosei, and helping pick up the slack. I truly couldn't have done any of this without you!


Thank you to everyone who played a part in helping me reach this milestone. I'm so grateful to be part of such an amazing community.
